Initial Assessment
Before embarking on our educational journey together, we start the process with a comprehensive diagnostic assessment. This initial evaluation helps us gain insights into various critical areas, including:
Phonological Awareness: This assesses your child's ability to recognise and manipulate sounds in spoken language.
Letter-Sound Correspondences: We explore their grasp of the connections between letters and sounds.
Encoding (Spelling) and Decoding (Reading): We examine their proficiency in both spelling and reading.
These assessments provide us with a clear understanding of your child's individual learning needs, and allows us to develop their learning goals.
Learning Sessions
Our core focus is on crafting group-based literacy programs that cater directly to your child's unique learning needs. Our group sessions, lasting 45 minutes each, create an environment where collaborative learning thrives. In these small, supportive groups, your child will work alongside peers who share similar learning goals. This collaborative spirit not only fosters a dynamic and engaging learning atmosphere but also ensures we can tailor our teaching approach to meet each student's individual needs effectively.
